Mercedes will follow Verstappen pattern with Russell
Toto Wolff has ruled George Russell out of a Mercedes seat in 2020, saying Max Verstappen's development through the Red Bull system will inspire the Formula 2 champion's own progression in Formula 1. Wolff is mulling over whether to stick with Valtteri Bottas alongside Lewis Hamilton next year, or promote reserve driver Esteban Ocon.
