German Grand Prix: Starting grid with penalties applied
Pole position for the German Grand Prix fell into Lewis Hamilton's lap as Ferrari fell apart at Hockenheim, Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc facing races back through the field. Sebastian Vettel will start last after failing to set a time at all, while Leclerc could not run in Q3 and will have to make up places of his own, having started Saturday as favourite for pole. Article continues under video It left gaps in the higher places on the grid, with Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Gosjean taking the third row. Two drivers also won the qualifying battle for 2019 at Hockenheim, Sergio Perez and George Russell taking their records to 11-0 over Lance Stroll and Robert Kubica respectively. Check...
