Raikkonen: F1 is more exciting in the midfield

Kimi Raikkonen believes that Formula 1 is better in the midfield. The Finn moved to Alfa Romeo from Ferrari for 2019 and believes the sport is now more enjoyable. Raikkonen, who is no stranger to fighting for race wins and battling at the sharp end of F1, insisted that because the racing is much closer in the series' midfield pack versus at the front, he is enjoying driving more compared to his time with Ferrari. Other than his enjoyment of battling other cars, the 39-year-old said there is not much that has changed versus his time with the famous Scuderia.
