Ferrari convinced Vettel penalty is unjust despite dropping appeal

Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto remains insistent that Sebastian Vettel did not commit any offence in the incident which left him with a five-second penalty that ultimately cost him victory at the Canadian Grand Prix, and says reversing the decision remains a priority. The Scuderia dropped an appeal against Vettel's five-second time penalty on Thursday, but are now looking into their 'right to review' – essentially seeking the same outcome through a different process.
