Formula 1 delays 2021 regulations after Paris summit

Formula 1, the FIA and the sport's teams have agreed to delay the publication of the final 2021 sporting, technical and financial regulations until the end of October following a summit held in Paris on Thursday. In a meeting before last week's Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal , the teams had given their approval on a large part of the future regulation platform. However, several crucial aspects of the proposal remained a source of contention, requiring further discussion and refinement. In conformity with its Sporting Code, the FIA needed to set the rules in stone by the end of June, or 18 months before their introduction on January 1 2021, with only a unanimous agreement by the teams...
