Hakkinen impressed with Verstappen move but Hamilton would always win

Mika Hakkinen has admitted it was good to see Max Verstappen try to overtake Lewis Hamilton at the Monaco Grand Prix but insisted the Brit was always going to win in the Principality. Hamilton secured pole and went on to win the Monaco race but it didn't come without its difficulties as he had to fend off Verstappen for over half the race. With Hamilton's medium tyres suffering a lot more than Verstappen's hard set, the five-time World Champion was seriously concerned and made his views felt over the radio.
