Ferrari hope Alfa take new control electronics ‘soon'

After Antonio Giovinazzi's engine issues in Shanghai, Ferrari are hoping Alfa Romeo switch to their updated control electronics for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Charles Leclerc's SF90 dropped a cylinder at the Bahrain Grand Prix costing the Monégasque driver the victory as he had been leading before the loss of power dropped him to third. Given his issues Ferrari introduced new control electronics in Shanghai with both Scuderia drivers and the Haas pairing taking the new unit. Alfa Romeo opted not to.
