Perez expects decision for future plans to be announced soon
Sergio Perez has confirmed an announcement for his 2019 plans will be announced soon. The current Force India driver sent his team into administration in a desperate attempt to save almost 400 jobs. He claims he has known his destination for awhile but has kept it under wraps. Perez, 28, began his F1 career with Sauber. He then moved to McLaren as a promising young driver. Since 2014 he has been driving the Force India who are expecting the Mexican to sign on. "I have known for a long time what my plans are, so it should be just a matter of days or weeks before we formally announce my future," says Perez on race fans.
