Ferrari more aggressive than Mercedes in tyre picks

Ferrari have taken more of an aggressive choice with their tyre selection than their title rival Mercedes have. Ferrari will still be feeling the pain of Sunday's race where Lewis Hamilton snatched the win of Kimi Raikkonen for Mercedes. The Italians have to risk it all if they are going to get back with Mercedes in the title race. The Singapore Grand Prix marks only the third time that the pink hypersoft tyre has been available (Canada and Monaco, the others). Mercedes have taken the more cautious approach with both of their drivers going with three sets of softs, four sets of ultrasofts and six sets of hypersofts.
