Stoffel Vandoorne to leave Mclaren at End of 2018 season

Stoffel Vandoorne will leave the McLaren F1 Team after the 2018 Formula 1 Season. The Belgian will end his relationship with the Woking based team next year, as McLaren is set to announce their new line up for the 2019 season. Vandoorne has been part of the McLaren Junior programme since 2013, where he has won multiple junior Formula titles including the GP2 Series title in 2015. Vandoorne made his debut at McLaren at the 2016 Bahrain Grand Prix as a stand-in for Fernando Alonso. He achieved his first F1 point that day with tenth place.
