Alonso: Reliability seems to have made a step backwards

Fernando Alonso had a dismal final Italian Grand Prix, it only lasted nine laps as an electronics issue sidelined the veteran Spaniard who questioned his team's reliability. McLaren's misery has been compounded since the summer break at the high-speed venues, at Monza they endured another painful weekend which offered a glimmer of hope by Alonso wrestling the orange car from 13th on the grid up to 10th before he was forced to park.
