Alonso hails Halo, questions Hulkenberg

Fernando Alonso reckons the controversial Halo saved Charles Leclerc from injury after he 'flew over' the Sauber at the start of the Belgian GP. Alonso and Leclerc were both punted into retirement on Sunday when hit by Nico Hulkenberg. The Renault driver braked too deep, locked up and hit the back of Alonso's McLaren. The impact launched the Spaniard over Leclerc's Sauber with the latter's Halo taking a good deal of the impact.
