Alonso and Toyota make it three wins from three

Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima took the #8 Toyota Gazoo Racing car to victory at the 6 Hours of Silverstone. The trio led home a 1-2 for Toyota, with Mike Conway, Jose Maria Lopez and Kamui Kobayashi bringing home the #7 car in P2. The victory in the United Kingdom is the #8 car’s third straight win in the 2018-19 World Endurance Championship super season, after wins at Spa-Francorchamps and Le Mans. Sebastian Buemi brought the car home to victory, making the vital move past the #7 with 45 minutes left of the six hour race. The #7 car was struggling with floor damage during the latter part of the race, which led to the overtake, and its slower pace in the final...
