F1 considering single and three-car teams

Pat Symonds says that F1 "should really think about" allowing teams to change how many drivers they are allowed to enter. As it stands, teams are only allowed up to a maximum of two cars racing at a time and one-car entries are only under special circumstances: e.g. an injury to a driver. F1's technical director, Pat Symonds, believes that the possibility of a change to this rule should definitely be considered. "It hasn't been on the agenda," Symonds said when speaking at a Motorsport Industry Association conference last week.
