Austria FP1: Hamilton heads Bottas as Red Bull chase

Lewis Hamilton made fine use of a barrage of aero and chassis tweaks on his Mercedes W09 by claiming top spot on the timing screens at the end of the first free practice for the Austrian Grand Prix weekend. The World Champions and World Championship leader posted a best time of 1:04.839 was a tenth faster than his Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas who was second at the end of the 90 minutes morning session.
