Alonso slams media for negativity slung at McLaren

McLaren faced a lot of criticism last weekend. It started with 'chocolate gate' and moved on to their bad performance on Saturday and Sunday. Plenty of people in the media have called for a reshuffling of personnel at the top, and some claimed this was impossible. Reports also came out that staff were planning a revolt and even a mass exodus. But Fernando Alonso has stood up for his team and slammed the media for the negativity. "A weekend like that, the only problem is the media attention it attracts, and the lack of normal conversation goes into the bad news or good news, and everything is exaggerated," Alonso said in an interview on F1i.
