Verstappen: More painful knowing we had a shot at pole

Max Verstappen entered the Red Bull pit garage after trashing his RB14 while on a hot lap during the late stages of FP3 at the Monaco Grand Prix on Saturday morning and got an earful from his mentor Helmut Marko while team principal Christian Horner called on the Dutch youngster to stop with the costly errors. Expensive indeed as a Red Bull front row lockout was on the cards in qualifying given the evidence of Daniel Ricciardo's record-breaking lap that earned him pole by a quarter of a second on the day.
