Vergne: Techeetah “not very confident” for Berlin
Berlin E-Prix – Championship leader Jean-Eric Vergne says Techeetah is “not very confident” about its victory chances for the Berlin Formula E race. Vergne has won three races in three different series on three back-to-back weekends (his Formula E victory in Paris, LMP2 WEC win at Spa and his ELMS debut at Monza), but reckons he will struggle to take a fourth and win on every weekend in May. “Definitely if there is a race track where we’re not very confident it’s this one, but I believe if we work hard and understand what happened last year hopefully we addressed the issues we had,” he said. “Definitely I will try to give it my best.
