Hard tyre to make its first appearance at British Grand Prix

Pirelli has confirmed its tyre selections for the British Grand Prix in July, which will see the first appearance of the ice blue-banded Hard tyre this season. As well as the Hard compound, the while-walled Medium and yellow-walled Soft tyre will also be available. As per the rules, each driver must save one set of the softest of the three nominated compounds for Q3, in this case the Soft. This set will then be returned to Pirelli for those who qualify in the top ten, but the remaining drivers will keep it for the race should they wish to use it.
