'Unexciting' Formula E is not the future, says Sebastian Vettel

Sebastian Vettel doesn't believe Formula E is the future of motorsport, saying the all-electric series' cars are neither fast nor exciting. Despite Vettel's negative view, Formula E's popularity is rising, both with the fans and with the competitors as an increasing number of official manufacturers join the high energy fray. Renault, BMW, Audi and Jaguar are already present in the category, and Porsche and Mercedes will field new teams in 2019, as both high profile manufacturers follow the trend, believing Formula E reflects the general direction of the automobile industry. Rosberg eyes possible all-electric future in Formula E Vettel however remains unimpressed by the burgeoning series....
