Rivals fear Mercedes is out of reach in Brazil

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull duo Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen fear Formula 1 rival Mercedes will be unbeatable in Brazil after the world champion outfit dominated practice. Lewis Hamilton topped both Friday sessions, finishing 0.048 seconds clear of teammate Valtteri Bottas in FP2 at Interlagos. Ricciardo was the closest challenger, two tenths off the pace in third, with Vettel a further tenth adrift. "It will be difficult to match Mercedes," said Vettel. "They look very quick in all conditions and on all tyres. Then it's very close between us and Red Bull.
