Verstappen joins the penalty list

Max Verstappen is the third driver to be penalised ahead of the United States GP weekend with news that he's taking a final power unit for this season. The Red Bull racer will reportedly take a new internal combustion engine along with one other element following Friday's two practice sessions. As such he's facing a 15-place grid penalty. Red Bull, though, believe Austin is a track where Verstappen can make up the lost ground. 'At least you can overtake so it's not such a problem,' Red Bull motorsport boss Helmut Marko told Motorsport.com. 'And it's could be wet. I don't know exactly what will be changed and what won't be.
