Sergio Perez donates £125k to Mexican earthquake fund
Force India driver Sergio Perez has donated three million Mexican pesos to an earthquake fund for his home country of Mexico, which has been devastated by two massive quakes this month. An 8.1 magnitude earthquake struck the south of the country earlier this month killing more than 90 people, whilst just thia week a 7,1 magnitude earthquake struck the country, killing more than 200 people, the majority in the capital, Mexico City. Perez's own charity has joined forces with the Carlos Slim Foundation to raise funds for the country, with the latter donating $5 for every $1 donated, with Perez making an initial £125,000 ($168,000) donation himself.
