Formula 1 bosses are doing "everything we can" to keep Honda in the championship beyond the end of the season. McLaren is expected to reach a final decision on its future with Honda this week, with speculation growing that it will switch to Renault power. Should that happen and Honda not team up with Toro Rosso next term, the Japanese manufacturer will be forced out of F1 altogether. Motorsport.com understands FIA president Jean Todt wrote a letter to Honda CEO Takahiro Hachigo expressing his support and wish to find a way to keep Honda in F1.
