Stoffel Vandoorne reveals special helmet design for Belgian GP

McLaren driver Stoffel Vandoorne has unveiled a special helmet design that he will use this weekend, at his home Formula 1 race. Vandoorne will compete in his first F1 race on home soil in Sunday’s Belgian Grand Prix, and will run a new helmet design to commemorate the occasion. The 2015 GP2 champion is currently racing in his rookie F1 season, and made a one-off appearance in 2016 to replace the injured Fernando Alonso at the Belgian GP. He finished 10th on his debut in Bahrain, but has suffered a tough first part of the 2017 season with the troubled McLaren team, only scoring his first point just before the summer break in Hungary.
