Alonso's British GP grid drop now 30 places

ernando Alonso is set to start from the back of the grid at the British Grand Prix after Honda fitted additional power unit elements to his MCL32, leading to further penalties.Alonso entered the Silverstone weekend with a five-place drop, having taken on his fifth Energy Store of the season, as Honda's Spec 3 power unit was re-fitted to his car, after a Friday failure in Austria.On Saturday morning, it was confirmed that Alonso's MCL32 had been equipped with his eighth Turbo Charger, eighth MGU-H, sixth Internal Combustion Engine and sixth MGU-K.As it is the first time an eighth version of any power unit element has been used, this carries a 10-place drop for the initial transgression, and...
