Pirelli meeting to decide change to British GP plan

Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli will meet at its Milan headquarters later today to decide whether to change its compound allocation for the British Grand Prix and remove the hard as an option. With the hard tyre having proved unusable during practice at the Spanish Grand Prix, F1 drivers spoke with Pirelli's F1 racing manager Mario Isola during Friday night's driving briefing in Barcelona about the situation. They asked for Pirelli to steer clear of bringing the hard to races in the future, and wanted a change of plan for July's Silverstone race, where the current options available to teams are for the hard, medium and soft.
