Sebastian Vettel admits safety car timing 'unfortunate' in China

Sebastian Vettel says the timing of the safety car during the Chinese Grand Prix was “unfortunate” after finishing in second place. He lined up on the front row alongside polesitter Lewis Hamilton and held his position early on, but pitted under the early virtual safety car. When the cars got back to full speed, the safety car was deployed to clear Antonio Giovinazzi’s crashed Sauber, which cost Vettel several positions.
