Hamilton – We’ve got a race on our hands
Triple-time world champion and Australian Grand Prix pole sitter, Lewis Hamilton doesn't appear too discouraged by that opening-day defeat, pointing to the tyres for causing Mercedes' relative lack of pace to Ferrari. Four-times world champion Sebastian Vettel won the Australian Grand Prix for Ferrari on Sunday to dash Lewis Hamilton's hopes of extending their dominance into a fourth successive season of Formula One.
