Ricciardo hit with five-place grid penalty

– Daniel Ricciardo has been dealt another blow at his home event in Australia, with Red Bull forced to change his gearbox after he crashed in qualifying, landing a penalty.Ricciardo lost control of his car through Turn 14 in the final segment of qualifying and slid rearwards into the wall, picking up significant damage and bringing out the red flags.As feared immediately after the incident, Ricciardo's car required a new gearbox, which resulted in a five-place grid penalty, dropping him from 10th to 15th place for the start.Sergio Pérez (Force India), Nico Hülkenberg (Renault), Fernando Alonso (McLaren), Esteban Ocon (Force India) and Marcus Ericsson (Sauber) all benefit from the...
