Stoffel Vandoorne feels 'ready for the challenge ahead'

McLaren’s 2017 Formula 1 rookie Stoffel Vandoorne says he is feeling “ready for the challenge ahead” after a tough time in winter testing. The team’s running was interrupted by numerous problems with Honda’s new power unit, limiting the amount of running Vandoorne and team-mate Fernando Alonso could complete. Despite concerns over the new MCL32’s reliability and performance, Vandoorne remains optimistic and has shied away from setting any targets. “It’s a great feeling knowing that I’m about to start my full first season in Formula 1 and it’s a dream I’ve been working towards for my entire racing career,” he said....
