Vandoorne optimistic after test improvement

– Stoffel Vandoorne expressed his optimism as McLaren-Honda bounced back from a difficult first half of the opening pre-season test to add much-needed mileage to the MCL32.An oil systems issue led to a power unit change on Monday, restricting Fernando Alonso to 29 laps, while a loss of power on Tuesday limited Vandoorne to only 40 laps, after which he stressed the need for further running.McLaren improved across the remainder of the test, with Alonso and Vandoorne both completing a race distance worth of mileage on Wednesday and Thursday respectively."I'm really pleased both Fernando and I were able to spend a full day in the car with no major issues," said Vandoorne, as he...
