Haas confirms no car updates during testing

Barcelona Testing – Haas team principal Guenther Steiner revealed that no new components will be tested on the VF-17 for the two pre-season tests. An eventful day for Kevin Magnussen saw the Haas driver take fourth place on the time sheet with a soft-tyre run at the end of day one, but their running was plagued by 'small issues'. With the team working through the usual teething troubles in the first couple of test days, Steiner confirmed that the second day of testing would be focused on setup work and optimisation, rather than car development.
