Wehrlein – Injury not affecting 2017 preparations

Barcelona Testing – Pascal Wehrlein is adamant that his back injury is not affecting his preparations for the 2017 season. The German injured himself in a crash during the Race of Champions in Miami last month, rolling a three-wheeled Polaris Slingshot following a collision with Felipe Massa. Wehrlein was ruled out of taking part in the first pre-season test in Barcelona as a result. “I am not concerned. Not at all. The best training is always to be in the car. But in terms of training I could do this winter I am very happy.
