Pirelli gets title sponsorship for three races

– Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli is to act as the title sponsor for three Grands Prix in 2017.Pirelli joined the sport in 2011 and last year acted as the lead sponsor for events in China and Spain.This year, Pirelli will expand its portfolio to three Grands Prix, having decided to sponsor races in Spain, Hungary and Belgium.Pirelli will this year introduce tyres 25 per cent wider front and rear than their predecessors, with the rubber to be sampled during testing in Spain from Monday.Pirelli has committed to Formula 1 as sole tyre supplier until the end of 2019.
