Bottas completes first laps with Mercedes
– New Mercedes recruit Valtteri Bottas has completed his first laps with the team as he sampled the W08 EQ Power+ during a filming day at a stormy Silverstone.Bottas was initially signed to remain with Williams for 2017 but was recruited by Mercedes to replace Nico Rosberg, following the German's decision to retire as World Champion.Bottas' team-mate, Lewis Hamilton, publicly debuted the W08 on Thursday morning at Silverstone, carrying out a couple of runs on Full Wet and Soft tyres.Following the formal unveiling of the new car on the pit straight, Bottas emerged on Full Wet tyres for his first laps with Mercedes' challenger for the upcoming season."It's a new chapter in my...
