Sauber conducts filming day in Barcelona
– Sauber has become the first team to run its 2017 Formula 1 challenger on-track, after the outfit conducted a filming day at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.Marcus Ericsson completed laps in the C36-Ferrari, which was unveiled on Monday, ahead of the opening pre-season test at the same circuit.New team-mate Pascal Wehrlein was also present, but Ericsson conducted driving duties due to Wehrlein's back injury, which has ruled him out of action for the time being.Ferrari reserve driver Antonio Giovinazzi, who finished runner-up in GP2 last year, is poised to join Ericsson for the opening test, which begins on Monday.
