Dallara: It will be almost impossible to overtake
Gian Paolo Dallara, whose company has an illustrious history in motorsports, producing everything from Formula 3 cars, to Formula 1 and Indycars, is mystified by the new Formula 1 rules which he believes will make overtaking scarce in 2017. Speaking to F1 insider Leo Turrini, Dallara said, 'As an engineer I do not understand why [in F1] they have decided to focus on higher downforce.' 'Technically it will be almost impossible to overtake because no one will be able to follow the car in front of him.
