Sauber to reveal new F1 car ahead of Barcelona run
The Sauber team will reveal the first images of its 2017 Formula 1 car on February 20, two days before it hits the track for the first time. While Sauber had announced that the new C36 would complete its first run during a filming day at Barcelona on February 22, the Hinwil-based team said on Friday that the first images will be revealed to the public two days earlier. Sauber said the car is currently being assembled before the first fire-up of the Ferrari engine, which will take place next week. Teams are allowed to carry out two 'filming days' during the year, but may not exceed 100km during the test. Ferrari fire-up Meanwhile, the Ferrari team completed its initial fire-up on Friday...
