Renault: No excuses not to run with the midfield

Renault have 'no excuse' not to run with the midfield teams this season; that's according to managing director Cyril Abiteboul. As Formula 1 embraces a host of new technical regulations, it is a reset for the teams and an opportunity for those who fell behind in recent years to fight back. Renault is one such team hoping to capitalise. The Enstone based outfit managed just eight points last season on the back of a late takeover of the Lotus team and the subsequent swap from Mercedes to Renault engines, are one 'Now that there's a reset of regulations, in my opinion it's even better because we have no excuse not to be at the same level as the midfield at the start of the season,' Abiteboul...
