BMW have ‘no plans' to re-enter Formula 1

BMW have refuted speculation that the German manufacturer could return to Formula 1, insisting that is not part of the plan. BMW withdrew from the sport at the end of the 2009 season, however, recently linked up with McLaren Automotive to work on future road car projects. This, coupled with Formula 1 being under ownership, raised the question as to whether BMW would be open to returning to the sport. The German company says no.
