Sauber pour cold water on Wehrlein injury reports
Sauber have dampened speculation that new signing Pascal Wehrlein is suffering from a neck injury. The former Manor driver was signed by Sauber last month, and resumed racing after the winter break by taking part in the Race of Champions. However, a crash that sidelined him from finishing the event appears to have had longer lasting effects than initially anticipated. Speculation has been rife that the German driver has suffered a neck injury, and has apparently undergone a series of tests with mixed diagnoses. As a result, rumour has suggested he will be unable to take part in the first test. Sauber have since moved to quell the rumours, by stating that it is ‘pure speculation',...
