Sir Stirling Moss 'stable' in hospital following 'serious' chest infection

Sir Stirling Moss is currently in a 'stable' condition in a Singapore hospital following a 'serious' chest infection, his family confirmed in a statement on Saturday. The Briton, who despite winning 16 races during his Formula 1 career, never won a title and is therefore often considered the greatest driver never to have won a championship. He and his wife were on holiday in Singapore during the Christmas period, but the 87-year-old was admitted to hospital on December 22.
