Salo: Hamilton 'clear number one' in 2017

– Mika Salo says he expects Lewis Hamilton to be treated as the "clear number one" at Mercedes in 2017, as Valtteri Bottas becomes his new team-mate, replacing retired World Champion Nico Rosberg.Bottas, 27, makes the switch to the Silver Arrows after four seasons with Mercedes-supplied Williams, signing a one-year deal, as the German manufacturer keeps its options open for 2018.Salo, who raced for Lotus, Tyrrell, Arrows, BAR, Ferrari, Sauber and Toyota in Formula 1 from 1994-2002, admits his fellow Finn faces "many challenges" as he seeks to quickly impress."He has only a one-year contract at the moment, which is a little bit weird," Salo explained to...
