McLaren to launch 2017 car on February 24

McLaren will launch its 2017 Formula 1 challenger on February 24, three days before pre-season testing begins in Spain. McLaren confirmed on Monday that it plans to unveil its car at 11am (GMT) on February 24, the same day Ferrari will uncover its 2017 car. Rumours the team could return to its orange livery – which would be popular with McLaren fans – could prove accurate, as the team chose the colour for its launch countdown. The British squad will be hoping to make a big step forward this season, having finished a lowly sixth in the constructors' championship last year, behind Williams.
