Manor racing director Dave Ryan says he is baffled to hear that Pascal Wehrlein is perceived negatively in some quarters of the Formula One paddock. The 2015 DTM champion arguably was the best rookie this year, reaching Q2 on five occasions and scoring Manor’s first point in over two years with P10 at the Austrian Grand Prix. However, Wehrlein was overlooked for a Force India promotion, with the Silverstone-based outfit giving the nod to fellow Mercedes junior Esteban Ocon instead. Silbermann says...
