Symonds to leave Williams at end of year

– Williams has announced that Pat Symonds will be stepping down from the position of Chief Technical Officer on December 31, marking the end of a three-year spell onboard the team.Symonds joined Williams towards the end of the 2013 season on a three-year contract, and helped the team secure back-to-back second places in the 2014 and 2015 standings.Claire Williams described Symonds as "a tremendous asset" during his tenure."Pat's appointment was the start of a major restructuring exercise, and he has been pivotal in reshaping Williams into what is a much stronger racing team today," added the Deputy Team Principal."I would like to thank him for all of his hard...
