Unwell Hamilton cuts short tyre test run
– Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has truncated his run plan during Pirelli's post-race tyre test at the Yas Marina Circuit due to feeling unwell, his team has confirmed.Pirelli is hosting its final day of tyre testing at the home of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as it bids to gather as much information as possible before next year's wholesale changes.Pirelli's front and rear tyres will be 25 per cent wider than those used in previous seasons, with downforce levels also increasing compared to 2016.Hamilton had been scheduled to take part in Tuesday's entire test, but after conducting early runs he was replaced for the rest of the day by Mercedes youngster Pascal Wehrlein.Wehrlein, who has...
