Mercedes’ Paddy Lowe: “Our pace is looking reasonably good”

Paddy Lowe felt it was a solid day on track in Abu Dhabi as Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg finished first and second in both free practice sessions on Friday. The Executive Director (Technical) of the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team feels the pace of the W07 Hybrid looks good around the Yas Marina Circuit, and believes they have set the platform for a solid final weekend for the championship winning team, and Lowe is looking to give it a perfect send-off with another dominant display on Sunday. “That was a solid start to the weekend,” said Lowe. “Both drivers struggled to put good laps together at various points in each session with traffic and the odd mistake. “But our...
