Nasr: 'Talks still ongoing for 2017, Sauber the priority'
Felipe Nasr has revealed that talks are ongoing with Sauber and remaining with the team in 2017 is his ‘top priority'. Despite scoring Sauber's only points in a difficult 2016 season, Nasr's immediate racing future has been thrown into doubt after reports emerged that the Brazilian's backers may not be able to bring the required funding for a 2017 seat. With Sauber confirming Marcus Ericsson for 2017 earlier this week, only one seat is available at the team. The only other option would be a drive with the Manor Racing team, who are yet to confirm either of their drivers for next year.
